                Canon L380 Fax/Printer/Copier.
Cassette falls apart, front door falls apart, toner sensor won't work for no reason, document feeder doesn't work, paperjams every 5 pages, cheaply made, feels cheap and nasty, terrible to work on, i.e. hugely awkward due to some screws only being accessible if you take 50 other things off first, in true Canon fashion costs a fortune, in other words pure evil in the shape of a fax machine.
If it was a car, it would be Christine, except it won't be a cool retro 50's American cruiser, it would be a Toyota Corolla with the reliability and build quality of a 70's Russian car.
If you see one for sale cheaply, don't bother. I wouldn't accept one as a gift. I wouldn't take one for money.
That and the first gen IR4570. It could be it's even more evil twin.

I'd probably have to agree with the MPC1500 - they took "Cheap Low Volume" machine a little too far, but if you had that much trouble with any of the Ricoh 105's you got a lemon or you weren't doing something right.

After a full day of dealing with MP4000's (either for that crappy developer, or the fuser, or that dumb-ass clip holding the pickup and feed rollers) I'm bumping them back to the top of the list.

Ive Invented a Mod for that dumb ass clip on the end of the feed rollers

Remove the feed unit from the machine and fit a Washer between the end of the shaft that drives the feed and the plastic frame it works 100% the washer part number is from a priport machine H006 2316 is the part number

I thought people liked the quality of the C1?
