Debs 1964, when did the Xerox 914 first get delivered? Both Chester and Xerox are good Questions for our Chamber Greeters meetings. Worst copier=Mita MC10. best Mita DC 111,..I still have 1 running in the field.

Oh great, now we'll have customers trying to make their own paper out of wrapping paper (as if they haven't tried it before)

This MP5002 that I am working n now. It constantly overtones. Replaced the entire PCDU, IDS, BCU, IOB, 2 developers. Less than 400K.

Any chance the transfer belt is rubbing drum and wiping toner patch off?

Isn't the patch measured by the IDS before it even reaches the belt?

Nope. Right up at the top of the PCU just below the fusing unit.

If the lever to the rear of the belt is in the wrong position then it never cams the belt away from the drum, if the belt is in the machine then the lever should be pointed downwards, when pressed it should move the transfer belt

I remember the horrible job of cleaning and adjusting all the relays in that system. All my clothes had toner stains. Etc etc.
