    Oh well...all ancient history now.
As a legacy Minolta dealer, I know the Minolta 45 to 55 ppm machines weren't great, but, when we got saddled with the Di551/7155 we realized the Di450/550 were perfect compared to them.
    Yup, ancient history.

Understood, I was on the other side of the fence, Legacy Konica and when the service modes and codes started making sense to nobody, the complaints started flying. And yes, the 7155 was a weird box. Seemed to dump toner and could not keep clean. Feed units were easy to service but required too much service. The prior machines were much stronger (except for the 7055 7065) Still, compared to some of the current machines, they were not as bad as they got to be.

I HATED the days right after the merger when nobody had a clue who was in charge and what the combination was going to put out next.

The darkest days were when they threw the Bizhub 500 into the mix. They already had a B&W machine that barely worked so they thought "Let's put another one out there and see how it goes". lol

By far the machine that I hate to work on the most is the xerox 9201 colorqube. Every call takes up half your day purging print heads and masking jets. The 30 min warm up time is ridicules. The only positive thing about them is they rarely jam.

Any Konica Minolta that ends with an E! These have been the biggest piles of crap I've seen since Ricoh thought it was a great idea to use gel ink instead of toner.

We have all voted for the worst copier ever, why dont we switch it up with: What was the BEST COPIER EVER MADE? I cast my vote for the Kyocera 2530, 3530, 4040, 3035, and 4035. You can\'t kill them things. And, the print systems actually work!

Anybody who worked on the TOSHIBA c3511 knows it was the worst engineered copier ever! I never saw 1 with a 1,000 total prints that didn't need a $1,000 dollars in parts, MODs didn't help, Carousel developers would fling toner everywhere! Transfer Belt tore on every machine! Cleaner blade scratched the crap out of the drum, and leaked all over the laser unit. The engineers should have to fall on their Swords for that piece of junk! They looked nice though...

today the black dev unit shredded a drive gear - ripped the teeth to shreds.

oh and ive had the cyan toner hopper worm screw bend and buckle to stop the toner being dropped into the dev unit.

I cant believe that they have got this so wrong when the previous range was a really good machine. I dont think ive seen many parts hit the pm cycle - bugger knows what will happen when the crappy toner hits them at my place!

Hp 9000 mfp. machine takes a million years to boot and then when you think it going to be ready some error code. ok, so you think you found the problem and same procedure again, wait, wait and wait hoping not to see the red blinking light and only to go through this again. paper jam, you have to open every jam door or cover and if you are not familar with the machine can't find the paper. stupid error codes that have no meaning that hp can't decode properly, and lct that test your nerves.

Mita 213, before all the modifications and a close 2nd place?..... Mita 213 after all the modifications.
I remember our Mita rep coming to our office and giving our sales people a hard time, saying any sales person can sell a good copier, but it takes a great salesperson to sell a Mita 213.

The 3M machine that used the pink tissue paper and special white transfer paper to make a copy. First 'copier' I remember.
