    Greatings

    Greetings

Been in the biz for over 30 years now and it doesn't look like I'm going to stop anytime soon. I have worked on a number of manufacturers equipment in my career. Mostly Kyocera and Konica Minolta in the last bunch of years. I am currently service manager for a new company in the Houston metro area. My hobbies are playing bass in various bands and dog training. I hope I can be of help.

        Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you Aneurysm, bob marley, blackcat4866, & Ratchet2501 for your warm welcome.

Balckcat, I never read the manual, I don't try to fix it at all (tell the customer I or someone will back with a part,...someday). I just post the problem and hope y'all will give me the answer so once I sober up I can go back out and pretend I know what I'm doing. Just kidding.

Ratchet, thanks for the inquiry into our experience with Harvey. Yes, Katy is west of Houston. Oddly enough my office is in Crosby, the opposite side of town.

We suffered no flooding and I was thankful for that. There were four days I could not go out on calls as it was too hard to get around the city, so I volunteered at a church nearby and helped people move stuff out of their homes and cut wet sheet rock off walls. The area I mostly helped in was the Cinco Ranch area. These are upper class homes. Most of the homeowners were still in a daze over their loss. There was some places that had up to eight feet of water (or more) in the homes. So many cars totaled out. Even today there are piles of stuff on the front lawns of these once very nice homes. I will never forget it. Now I look at the things I own and remind myself, its only stuff.

I will try to be a good contributor. Thanks again.
