    Great minds are alike.
Don't underestimate your job is terrific we appreciate your support and moral.
Find your place and get well. Like many others I quit this field for some long boring days before I went back where I'm bound. Strong as never before. My back is hurting my eyes are weak I don't mind, my spirit is high my moral is strong.

A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

I'm "at retirement age" in a couple of months but I'm not retiring...I still enjoy working on them. More importantly, I enjoy helping other techs.
THAT is what I get the most enjoyment from. As long as I can get up from the floor, I'll keep chugging along.
Plus, if I quit, there would be too much of a party on the TABS hotline LOL

I retired 7 years ago. But I never left CTN. The only thing that I lost really was the ability to get manuals, bulletins and firmware from Ricoh directly. I still share the knowledge that I have.

Amen to that...I almost regret not working anymore on Toshiba just because of people like You. Though not many left.

The only reason I retired is due to my worn out body. I still love diving head first into problems and fixing them. Copiers have been a part of my life since I started working. It is so interesting to read all the comments, well maybe not all, because your see yourself in their thoughts. We are very much alike, for the most part , in wanting to solve issues. Love a challenge and when completed, what a rush.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

I'm so grateful and humbled knowing there are people like me all around the world...well not so many.
The most part I enjoy this job is "hunting" unseen problems the feeling when it's done and fixed is priceless 😄
I strongly believe in good karma by helping others one helps yourself!
