    Hello everyone

Just a hello note from Vancouver BC Canada to all printer/copier/plotter techs.
For a while in a previous life I struggled daily with HP, Calcomp, QMS and other industrial strength mapping plotters (anybody remember print engine tweeking over a DECNet Lan?)
...so now I'm in even deeper sh** trying to save seemingly expendible unfixable inkjets for a Not-For-Profit org.
If they only made an AIO to the standards and durability of my old HP LJ4 (20 years and still going strong!)
My thanks go out to the all the admins and sponsors for providing this great site.

      Re: Hello everyone

      Welcome!
You have my sympathy. When I get one of these inkjet calls, I usually suggest that I can ship them a new machine for $35 less than the cost of the service call labor. I don't end up doing many inkjet calls. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
