I had the green sticker and a reputation at 10, I got confused in giving an information in the post "The feeder needs to be checked" and I switched to red sticker with reputation 0.

Re: Reputation
thank for your help
even if this is not very clear to me
I care about my reputation.
It took me 30 years to make a name for myself among the technicians I know... and there are so many
thanks again and ciao"Knowledge is a source, but unfortunately ignorance is a sea."Comment

Re: Reputation
Don't worry about your rep numbers none of us pay any attention to it (unless you have dozen of red I guess)
It's not like eBay feedback where you could potentially loose sales.
However if you want to build up your rep, log on here a couple of times a week & help out fellow techs.

Sorry to be dense (I should know this by now), but what exactly did you [and skynet] do, and where can I read the rules in this regard? [On the command bar above the thread, "Forum Rules" -- between "Invitations" and "Advanced Search" -- is not a working link.] Thanks.Comment

I tried using my Galaxy S8 and it does not work. So if you have a Windows computer try using it.
As for what skynet and I did, if you look a the bottom left corner of someone else's post you will see a six point star and a triangle. The start is for reputation and after clicking on it you will have the option of adding or subtracting reputation. The triangle is for reporting problematic posts such as illegal advertising. Administration will eventually review reported post and if they are in fact illegal posts will remove the posts and the poster.Comment

Re: Reputation
Like the other poster said the rep cards mean nothing here. The main reason why they are meaningless is there are a "few" members here using different names to give themselves rep points or 4-5 morons giving each other points. I know what you are thinking, that is really sick or very sad.
The main thing here is you know how much you help people and how much they help you. That is all that matters not your reputation with strangers on a forum.
I just gave you a rep point. Wish I could give you all mine because I never even look at them. Heck I didn't even know what they were until a member here told me about them.Last edited by copyman; 07-20-2020, 11:56 PM.Comment
