Wrong name on my posts

When I make a post sometimes copier addicts name shows up instead of mine. Always his name and no one else. This is very disturbing. And his name appears beside my avatar.

See Synthohol topic just below. Seems like very new glitch to me. Is it yours appear like in Synthohol pictures attached? I made a post intentionally in topic he mentioned and it appeared like Copier tech too.

I suspect the problem with the wrong name showing up has to do when the other member quotes one of my posts in a particular thread.

Then quit arguing with him in that thread, Find a chat room somewhere and take it there. The admin has gotten complaints about the constant bickering. That is why you no longer see RREE thread shown in Latest Topics.

Not sure if what I did was a permanent fix but it looks good on my end. Let me know if you see it happen again.

Edit: The problem is fixed. My name shows up now where another name appeared before.

The actual website is the enjoyable part, it's the server-side stuff that can be painfully challenging for a novice. As open and limitless as the internet seems, it's very particular about how data gets on and off it.

So, I wanted to take some time and think about this before responding. You're absolutely right. It's not fair to the other members and I've heard all the complaints. But really what drove me to make this decision is seeing all the hard work that Aneurysm is putting into this site and he doesn't need the headache. Really, I wish we could just get rid of the political forum because I'm a very weak man and a political junkie. 😁

But I'm done with the constant bickering.

Getting rid of the political posts has been discussed and is being considered. That or moving them to a grouping for them only.
