lol i can adapt, im just used to how old BB code worked in posts. at one point (not here) i had to type colon : ) and colon again but that does not work either.

I tried manually creating a smiley using : colon ) close parenthesis and they do show on Preview. I even tries all available Style options.
(edit) apparently there is something that is removing the smiley combinations of characters when posting or previewing.
