    Reputation is back

User Reputations are back! Reputation scores are represented by stars under the user's name in posts and other places. Reputation can be affected by post count, registration date, post reactions (smiles, thumbs up, etc), and other factors. The default setup is geared towards newer boards so we will need to make a few adjustments to fit our system a little better so you may see your score go down a little over the next few weeks as we tweak the backend settings. Ranks start with one white star and progress up to 5 solid stars.

as always, we welcome your input on the new feature

Great, thanks. Are previous rankings from the old site carried over or are we all starting from 0 again ?

You have 5 stars and reputation beyond repute

I have noticed that the order of the Post Reactions has been changed to put the thumbs up as the first one.

Just like Mom and Dad always told you, your reputation follows you forever. So yes, it goes back to your original registration on the site.

Good eye, I reordered them to put positive reactions before the negative reactions, they were previously a little jumbled. Would you like to see the smiley face on the left before the thumbs-up?

Either way is fine but I do use the thumbs up more often.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.
