    Outage

    There was some type of outage today that was affecting my being able to access CTN for a number of hours today. I was getting a "Server not found" when I tried to see notifications. Apparently it was an outage affecting the hosting cloud as there were a number shown for parts on the east coast. How many others were affected by the outages?

      Yeah I noticed it too. Happily were back. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          I noticed it, but only with CTN. All other sites I tried were OK.

                  I notu=iced that there were 6 new spam posts in https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/c...al-discussion/ I wonder if the spam bots activity might have caused the outage.

                          It was Sunday afternoon when not so many members are active. I think Admin did some kind of maintenance.

                              According to his profile, he has not logged in for the 4 weeks. I hope he doesn't go another 3 months like he did the last time.

                                          One of the first places I checked. Didn't provide much information as to whether it was just a single site or an area outage. A few months ago a vehicle accident took out one of Charter/Spectrum's fiber junctions and most of Bakersfield was without cable from mid evening evening to around 5 or 6 the next morning.
