Yeah I know, I was referring to the filesize but that numbers indicate that this is is huge SD.
I'd probably considering some "cleaning" before starting the migration.

Not shure if vB might have some tools for:

      - Deleting user accounts with zero posts and no log-in/activity since "x" years
      - Deleting search indexes from DB (in case vB use them, I'm just familiar with phpBB and this can pump up your DB sizequite a lot)
      - Deleting "non-tech" related threads/posts (like offtopic stuff) older than "x" years

        So ?
The whole thread I've posted about which brands etc. is lost, and I had a private message waiting for an answer, it's gone.
I'm fully aware that the forum was not available for multiple days but I prefer to point that things have been lost. It's no big deal.

The site crashed late in the day on the on the 18th, and the restore was from early on the 17th so we lost about 2 full days of user activity.

Anytime you have to restore you are going to lose anything entered after the backup. There was another dealer here in Bakersfield years ago who hadn't backed up their accounting system for 6 months when their computer crashed. Luckily they had the hard copies of the daily posting reports. It just took them awhile to get everything loaded on their new computer before they could bill their customers.

No big deal that a few days was lost. Even though it helps many people on a daily basis it's not life or death.

Thanks for taking the time to keep this site going.
