    Greaseable Clutch Grease

Does anybody have a current number for Canon's Teflon Clutch Grease?

The number I have is no longer valid: DU0-0079-000
I have substitutes that aren't quite as good, and I'll use them. IB-23 and Mita Ball Bearing Grease.

But I'd prefer the good stuff. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

can't help with the Cannon grease, But the grease I use almost exclusively is Superlube. It has great thermal characteristics, and contains PTFE and readily available at places like Harbor freight. They also make it as an oil. These and a conductive grease are the only lube in my bag...

Thanks Tonerbomb. I'm somewhat of a collector of lubricants. I've got 6 different greases, 3 different oils, and 7 different solvents/cleaners. Each has it's own uses.

      Mostly I use:
my own formula of glass cleaner: on glass or as a final rinse
Contractors De-Sol-Vit (orange oil cleaner): on rubber or plastic
Zep fast505: great on plastic covers, especially old ink
      Triflow light oil: lubricant

Why my own formula of glass cleaner? I've had a bad experience with ammonia and cannot tolerate it at all.
My recipe is two gallons of the low temperature windshield washer solvent, two quarts of Vinegar Windex (no longer sold, I bought up the last three cases), one pint cleaning vinegar. Total three gallons lasts for 3 years (~$7)

Yeah BC I've got a collection of lubricants in the garage, Mostly from vehicles and electronics. I can go to the garage and find the bottle of turbin oil in 10 seconds. Used for electric motor bearings. In the car I carry Zep glass cleaner and Zep GP cleaner for covers ect. and I do have a small bottle of DeInk, a product that is an ink solvent. However if you clean covers with it, you have to rinse the cover immediately or the plastic will melt...
