    GBC Shredmaster 4160x

I normally dont see shredders (copier tech) but I have one where the machine just wont work, the led for the door ajar comes on when the door is opened, but the shread heads dont respond when the rocker switch is pressed. Opening and closing the door rapidly will make the shred heads move just slightly (less than 1-2 mm) I checked the control pwb and found nothing on the surface or back surface wrong. I believe this machine has a "starter" capacitor for the motor, that I think may be bad, just running the symptom and my thought on whats wrong through here. I can turn the motor and shred heads by hand, so they arent bound up or anything.

By the way does any one have a service manual for this guy?
    TIA

if the capacitor is bad, the motor would emit a loud humming sound and turns warm or even hot very quickly. Just ohm it out. And second, ohm the motor coils; there should be three coils with nearly even values, and they must not have contact between each other or the frame.
