Today I had two of these. Two different customers. Has been working but just recently stopped working.
I created both gmail accounts for the customer in the past and I know the password. I have turned on access for less secure apps.
Both have stopped working.
One of them shows a "Forward TX error", the other I'm not sure what error it shows.
I have checked all the email tx settings. Re-entered the password. Logged into the account at gmail.com.
the gmail account is entered into all fields such as authentication, administrator email address & device email address.
Have tried SSL 465 and StartTLS 587
Verified gateway & dns settings. Also have additional dns such as google's dns.
Can ping smtp.gmail.com from the copiers.
Other than that only thing I can think of I have tried is to factory reset the copier and set it back up. I have had to do that on an E series before to get it to scan to email on any server. But wanted to see if I'm missing something. I have set up 100s of these and have done many with gmail with little issue.
All other setting in email tx look standard default besides what I list above.
I even tried another account that I know 100% works.
