    Hey!...At least Kyocera gives you an SMTP error code!...e.g - error - 0x1105 - note: SMTP protocol is not enabled. What to check - 1. Confirm device's SMTP protocols.

    All of this can be tested, checked and corrected from within Kyocera's Web Image Monitor!

    Last time I checked, you had to be physically standing in front of a Ricoh to test SMTP connection or scan to SMB connection! RETARDED!

      So does Ricoh. User Tools - System Settings - Interface - Print List. Last page of the print out will show what the most recent SMTP, SMB and FTP error codes were. They are industry standard error codes.
