what are you wanting to setup? Print? Scan? email ... more info .. what print driver are you using?

once you have your PC connected to the unit you should be able to set all those functions up via RUI

Firstly this old model didnt always come with the print option.
Does yours have a LAN/Network port?

Plus it has to be an "i" model in order to push scan.

        A 3300 vs a 3300i.

And, no, there was no way to convert from one to the other.

TWAIN, or "pull" scanning, would work if not an "i" model, with Network ScanGear and an application that could scan.

              Only for model IR 3300i

              IR 3300 >network settings>turn DHCP to ON
Connect IR 3300 to lan network
Restart machine, find IP number and Write it down then turn of DHCP
Download and install driver on your computer.

              Download link

On this Canon site you can find necessary software.

If you have problems with network installing you can help with NetSpot Device Installer

              Scan software:

              Network ScanGear

                Remote User Interface..

in your browser type in the IP address for the machine... you will then be looking at the machine config ect.

                  Re: Canon iR3300 Network Connectivity

An iR3300 "non "i" can print IF there it has the print option.

If I remember, there will still be a network port if there is no print option. IP settings (including DHCP) will still be there.

While there are a bunch of ways to see if printing is installed, one is to check for the presence of NetWare and Appletalk in the network settings. If missing, it's doubtful that printing is there.

Also, check the version of the Boot ROM. If it's an "N", printing is there. If it is a "C", no.

I've been out of Canon for a long time now, but I don't think that ever changed, especially on this old relic.

did you set the IP address to match the unit? have you pinged the machine IP address and got back positive replies? do you have the print driver installed for the unit and set to the proper IP address?

really need more info to help you.
