    Airprint IOS 17.2.1

Anyone having trouble with 17.2.1 airprint really slow ? The job shows up in the queue, but takes about 6 mins to print. B&W didn't make a difference. Someone in our office with 17.1.2 printed immediately. Multiple MFP's do it, as well as at cutomers office. Machine firmware is up to date as well.
    Hope that helps !

Having issues with Ipad print jobs causing copier to lock up, firmware is up to date. But have no solution. Kyocera 4053ci.

The ones I've tried are 4054ci, 406ci, P3145 & 3553ci. Issues with all of them, except from 17.1.2 iOS.
From my phone, it eventually printed after about 6 minutes.
      Hope that helps !

For SHARP MFP's slow printing using Airprint has always been the case.

Most of the time it's simply because APPLE has really shitty processors, in all their equipment. All of them, every single one of them. No exceptions, not one.

Don't believe me? Get the crappiest Android, and print using AIRPRINT. Compare. Yeah, it's crazy the difference in printing speeds.

Because I have had this conversation with so many, many Apple loving clients, I tell them this.
"Sorry, Apple has poor processors, and it takes a while to print. You have two choices when printing with your phone/Ipad -
Endure the slow printing and be patient with your phone. Or use the APP, which uses a dedicated driver, and prints RAW over directly to the MFPS IP"
"Yes, printing from your Macbook using AIRPRINT is fine, but you will, I guarantee it have problems with slow printing especially with PDF files.
Let me install the driver for you, it will print much faster ok?"

And in every single one of them, I take out my $75 dollar One Plus Nord N100 Android Phone, take a picture of the MFP and click print to show them how much faster, and better, Android is.

What model printer are you referring to ? If you're printing from a MAC don't use airprint install the correct driver & print via TCP/IP.

Except that Android devices don't use Airprint as it's an proprietary Apple feature.

Android is just using standard mDNS which is what the old Bonjour service uses.
