Hello to everyone

I have question if someone had problem like this , Gmail SMTP works without any problem on my Bizhub C250 but when i try to Configure office 365 smtp it doesn't work , maybe someone have something like manual or maybe some advice i dont know how to configure Office's side.

If you know 100% you have entered the correct SMTP details into the device for O365 then try a firmware update.

on MFP 's side i know that its correct but , on Office 's side not sure

i already updated FM .

Contact Microsoft Support. They are in the process of upgrading the security on their services. You may need to make changes in your O365 Admin Console.

If the problem is that the emails appear to be sent but are not in your 365 inbox, check your Junk/Spam/Bulk folder(s). One of the first changes they made is causing scanned emails to be dumped there. Some of the things I have seen in other posts this month are white listing the sender. white listing the authentication email if different from the sender. There was also one that had to do with the fact that most MFP have a default subject that is unique to that machine and the email. Eventually they will be requiring OAuth instead of Basic SMTP authentication. That might be what the Special firmware that tsbservice mentioned is for.

Problem is that i cant even send from MFP im 100% sure that something in O365 is wrong ( settings )

Are you getting an error message? Have you checked you MFP's interface log immediately after any error message to get the details?

If you select the job, then press "Details" you should have a network error code, which should indicate why it failed to complete

Did you use special FW?

In the Office 365 admin page go to User, then Active Users and select the account that you are using.
On the page that has come up select Mail and under Email Apps click Manage Email Apps and make sure that Authenticated SMTP is TICKED.

Security Defaults need to be turned off for the tenant for app passwords to work. It can be turned off in the M365 Admin Portal, however SMTP Auth will be retired next September.
