Do you have the scan enabler? If not then you can not scan. You either need the print and the scan enabler or you need the combo enabler.
then in the web browser you go into admin then network then file save option. And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right! -
There is no browse feature in the Toshiba copiers. If you want to scan to a netowrk folder, then you need to know what the UNC path is. For Example:
\\servername\sharedfolder
You will also require credentials for the machine to use when scanning. This could be a clients logon or the best approach is to create a user for the copier to use. If the client is running a domain, then don't forget to put the domain name followed by a backslash in front of the username.
domain\usernamePlease don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.Comment

You can use the templates if you want to scan to more than two folder locations. You will how ever need to set either remote 1 or remote 2 to 'Allow user to select network folder to be used as destination'.
From there, use the following to set a template for scanning:
1. Registration
2. Create a Template Folder as such (group for scanning templates)
3. Click on an empty template
4. Select scan (and the default should be scan to file)
5. Click 'Select Agent'
6. Enter in all of your desired settings. Just remember to untick 'Use local folder' so that scans aren't also sent to the HDD of the copier. Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.Comment
