    Taskalfa NW Faxing/DV MAX

We have a 3060 and 300ci set up for NW faxing . Customer is running D.V. MAX in XP/Vista .Printing and reg faxing works without problems. However, when they send a nw fax when in dv max the program will crash apx 10-30% of the time. The crashes may not happen for several days then multiple times throughout the day. It seems that the crashes occur with heavy volume. Kyocera tech and regional rep have been of no help.
    Any thoughts????

Did you upgrade the firmware after the fax card was installed?

The machine only upgrades firmware for accessories that are currently installed. You could have an old version of the fax firmware interacting with a newer MMI or Main firmware. Upgrade to v 11.0 on the 300ci or v 2.48 on the CS-3060. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      Blackcat..
I wish it was as simple as updating firmware!(all firmware and drivers have been updated and reloaded) CS rep was out and gave up. The program DV max is a vetinarian app.program and they are running Adobe with it.H.P MFP products ,as far as I know work 100%. The funny thing is that they had a 3035 and that worked without a hitch! Shutting down DV max is not an option because everything goes through DV Max,and Dv has not been very helpful. I suspect that the interaction between Adobe DVand max may be the issue. I just don't know where to go at this point.

If you can send a fax from your laptop (bypassing all their network, but still connected via CAT5) then the problem is not the MFP, if it only happens with that software, then it is a conflict that software is creating I would have the customer call Tech Support (for the software) and have them look into it.
