Using the fax option on a konica minolta C353 with IP Phone Systems including IP Fax

My customer brought this too me today and I was very stumped. They basically got a new phone IP Phone System, with no more normal phone line jacks. So they want to use their fax feature of their copier but I am unsure how this can even work now. Is there a way to set this up or are they SOL.

Um, Yeah, no... Unless you setup an ATA for an analog line.. Even then it's dicey @ best.. Best bet is a plain old fashioned analog tel line for the fax.....

I have a customer that uses FoIP but they have a modem where they connect the fax line from the copier and the network cable from the Network.

Both the sending & receiving machines have to be ifax capable for it to work. The only way to get it to work somewhat reliably is slow modem speed, turn of error correction & bump the scan resolution down. That way you're sending as little info and as slow as possible.
          Hope that helps !
