    emailing reports from command center

I have a TA 5500i machine I have been trying to monitor for certain jams we've had issues with over the last few weeks. This machine has scan to email set up on it so I know the SMTP settings are correct. I got to put my email address in for Email Recipient #1 to just have the machine email me any jams or service codes it has, but I am getting an 0x8009 error when I tell it to test send. I can't find this error anywhere so any help in what area I should be looking at would be appreciated.

Im not sure about the code but...You say the machine is setup to scan to email, is it able to send externally. Sometimes the you can only email in the current domain if you haven't got the correct authentication details.

You'll have better luck sending the reports to the copier administrator's email address, then have all emails from the MFP forwarded wherever you want by rule.

Most of the places I have set up scan to email do not allow email destinations outside the domain. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Sounds like a good work around. This is just a machine I want to monitor and this seems to be the easiest way without me going out everyday or calling the person who is there who isn't always around the machine to get accurate times or if jams happened. Thanx for the tips.
