IR 330S thumping sound in vertical transport

I havent seen this machine in a long while and it is making a thumping sound in the vertical transport...the tires etc need replacing, but is there a clutch that I can clean or do I just replace the motors to make the thump go away....yes it does jam there, and now that it thumps more frequently...

You've probably got a damaged sector gear or ratchet. For details see this post: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...lift-mech.html

The feed unit is exactly the same. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        You've got two choices:

Order the feed unit & 1 hr labor, and make your profit on the parts,
or order the individual parts & 2.5 hrs labor & make your profit on the labor. It works out about the same either way. =^..^=
