      Are you sure you are cleaning the correct sensor? you can only see the small flat part of the sensor, like I say it sits just above the drum.
      If you are sure this is clean then the sensor could be faulty.

      machine executes patch image detection operation after the main power
      switch is turned on is indicated.
      (range of indications: 0 to 1023)In the case of 255 or lower, the indication
      will be E020-0081.

        I believe its faulty as I think is as clean as its ever going to get.

        I looked it up and the price range is between 40 and 60 dollars

          Yes its only a cheap part, but it is not easy to get to especially if you have an internal finisher.
