Copy and Send Icons Missing. Imagerunner Advance 6065

I had a hard drive crash on an Imagerunner Advance 6065. Installed the hard drive and system software, now I have several icons missing including Copy and Send. What did I do wrong and what I can do to fix it?

Push the show all button to see if they are there. If they are you have to log in and push the box it right upper corner and go to the menu buttons to put them back on the main screen.

Sign in as admin "registration/additional functions", then the upper right icon should be lit on the home screen. Activate that to open the menu for configuring the home screen.

Tried both suggestions. When I tried to add from the menu, the copy icon not an option to add. Tried changed the value in service and got and e732 error. The feeder is recognized, it lights up when I put a document in the feeder. I just can't copy. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have a theory of what went wrong. I only have V2 software for this model. Without having v1 I think I am missing the software that adds those icons. When I do a compare P-PRINTs of before and after, I am missing COPY-AP, SEND-AP, BOX-AP. That being said, does anyone have any version 1 firmware for the 6065? Thanks.

What happened when You try flash system through updater on machine?

Yes, get the machine on the network & set up correctly then update the system software vid CDS & choose over write all

Yes, they are there, but if I try to change the value, it says "NG"

Ok. I found the problem. I didn't have copy, send and box registered in sst. Not sure how that happened, but I registered it and loaded it via sst and I now can copy, send etc... Thanks for your help.

I've just had the case on a DXC 5840i, Scan and send function disappeared after having done some testing with the (new) device.


The UI Send was just deactivated (put to 0) , i just did Copier > Option > DSPLY-SW > Level 2 > UI Send from 0 to 1, and restart the device
