    canon ir5055 document feeder dadf-s1 "check your document" message apears on screen soon as i hit start

    Does the green light on the feeder come on?

    Have you tried a sens-init
    copier > feeder > function > sens-init

      I have had that on the advance series. It is always a flag (that actuates sensor) out of place (usually right after the feed roller). Don't know about this series but something to check. Luckily I don't have but a couple of these models in the field.

        see that attached file, this is a fairly common issue with these DADF's if they are in a high use area
        Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

            I have replaced all the sensors still check your document after pressing start.

              i seen this on e-support i pull the fan and traced the wires. i didnt find anything that looked bad, and the fan works
