ITB and Cleaning Blade Renew on C5240

Hello everybody,
I am to replace the ITB with a C5240. This makes probably on all sides gladly times a small magenta point at the end of the page. In the manual, this is to be taken when changing the Cleaning Blades Tospearl 240 FY9-6007. Do you do this, or can you take toner for it. On other machines is synonymous ultimately also toner taken? How do you do this, or what else?

Im not quite sure what you mean, no offence to your English.

So if you are replaceing the belt and Cleaning blade/unit you need to lubricate the belt with either setting powder as I know it or you could use toner if nothing else available or even waste toner.

Right, I would like to replace the transfer belt and the cleaning blade. Here in Germany, however, Tospearl 240 is largely unknown and therefore the question of what else can be taken. So old toner can be taken without hesitation?

If I ran out of drum setting powder, I found a good substitute to be a Bowler's "Slide Powder".... It's usually available in a local bowling alley.

Yes you can, ive used it in the past and thats what the cleaning blade removes toner!

A colleague said that he did not use anything. The original cleaning wipers already have enough powder from the delivery on it.

I bit of old toner wouldnt do any harm.

When re assembling, make sure the handle is pushed up against the ITB frame, make sure you get the circlip in the groove

In the meantime I have replaced the ITB and the Cleaning Blade.But now I have the same problem as with the C5030 in this post: http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...ight=Gray+veil


Has one an idea why the letters now also shaded gray?
