Yes it will be the fixing film, they can tear or the grease drys out over time.

E0007 is a fixing film rotation error.

Yep...replace the fuser belt, be sure to clean heater , an bushing ends real good, and re-grease...pretty simple once you do a few times...good luck mate

I go back out to the copier and pull the fuser unit again (I'm not a fan of Canon copiers and thus don't know a lot about them) other than the 225,000+ copies made on copier to me the fuser belt looks good and it turns when rotating the gears. I relube the bushings and belt(did not clean the heater) re install the fuser and made 50+ copies before the error code came back??? Still the fuser belt ass'y???
          Thanks!!!

You can check the fixing drive unit if the fuser is functioning normally when manually manipulated. Likely still a fixing film issue though.

the drive for the fixing film comes the rubber ring on the rear end of the lower pressure roller replace the rubber ring and or the lower roller and your problem will be gone. in an emergency you can clean the rubber ring but at 225,000 it needs replacement the part # is RB2-1920
