Canon IRA C7260 Stuck on screen

    Hi guys,

I got this copier second hand with the HDD removed. I put in a new HDD and formatted it successfully, after the machine restarts it gets stuck ( I left it for an hour) on the screen attached below. I did some research and did the firmware with overwrite and got the same result, as the machine starts again after copying the files it gets stuck on this screen.

Is there a data erase kit that could have been removed that is causing this problem?

    Thanks

    Hi. Try this

    COPIER > OPTION > LCNS-TR

    Put ST-HDCR2 TO "0"

I know it may take time for the machine to boot, but 1 hour sounds strange

I can't get into service mode. I would try it though.

Did you try with Boot System Error Diagnosis Tool or Controller System Error Diagnosis Tool?

This was the closest answer. I tried to get it to do the Boot System Error and the Controller System Diagnosis thingy, neither of which worked.

On a hunch, I replaced the Main Controller #2 and was able to finish updating the firmware, and get past that stuck screen, but to add another issue,

I now have a brand new error code!

          E260-0002

          Any suggestions?

I believe you forgot connect something. There is no 24V power supply somewhere.

Yes, in the manual.. But did you check them if they all plugged in! E260 is related with 12-24V supply.
