    Canon 5045 SRAM

    Hi I am looking some help. I have a Canon E355-001 error and I am trying to locate what is causing it. I have located the counter pcb which looks secure the main contoller pcb looks fine and the ECO ID PCB connectors are secure I am struggling to locate the SRAM would someone be able to point this out for me? thanks.

    SM shows it on main controller PCB2. lt did not say exactly where I could see. Have you tried reloading software?

      Theres a specific clear mode in special service mode to rest this error.
      This error isually appears after someone tries to wipe the main counter.........

        E350 / E355 / E748 Error Codes

        Counter PCBs and SATA Flash PCBs are no longer available for purchase. As a result, please handle E350 / E355 and E748 in the following manner:

        E350 / E355 Error Codes:

        Call the Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830).

        E748 Error Codes:

        Refer to the Service Manual. If the Service Manual states, Contact to the Sales Companies, stop and call the Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830).

        *NOTE 1: For any of these error codes, do not swap any PCB's from any other machine. Doing so may render both machines unrecoverable.

        *NOTE 2: Do not use any of the User Mode or Service Mode clears when encountering these error codes. :

        (Executing the Service Mode or User Mode clears may render the machine unrecoverable.
        **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
