iR 2018, can't enter service mode, system won't start, stuck at loading bar

Like thread title says, on iR 2018 system won't start, cant enter service mode, loading bar during the start up just keeps starting over.

Since this device has no hard drive, I would suspect the image process pcb.

Reflash the system software/firmware its comon issue on this model.

First thing that came to my mind but im unable to enter service mode due to machine not booting up but being stuck at loading bar while booting.

Any way to flash it without service mode?

Since this device has no hard drive, I would suspect the image process pcb.

I suspected as much, but wanted to look at other solutions before getting a new ip pcb

How about starting in safe mode will it boot from a fw flash drive like the bigger Canons do?

No, can't boot from USB with fw. Suspecting physical dmg on ip pcb board.

Service mode may be different than other Canons?

for 1022 = Enter the Service mode. (Main Menu > 2 > 8 > Main Menu)
2 and 8 not same time.

It's been a long time since I have done a FW update on this model...you need SST app and FW, start the machine in download mode (2+8 and Power) and flash it from your PC through SST connected to machine via USB cable? I may be wrong about this
