Only when using the document feeder they get 302-00001 . I cleaned scanner mirrors and it worked for a couple months and now its back only worse. I was told the scanner ribbon cable might be the problem however, they,re able to make copies by placing the original on the glass. The scanner is moving! It does'nt make sense. It's got to be a communication error. I am unfamiliar with this model. So any info would help. thanks.

it is the cable - an ati was issued , should replace cable - however removing both ends and cleaning with solvent and reseating will cure 99% for some time -

What type of DADF they are using DADF-AVI or Single Pass DADF-A1?
