How much will it cost to replace the HDD in Canon iR3300, getting error code E 602 001, what are the step by step procedures to install the HDD and copy the firmware or software update in the new HDD.

It shouldn't cost much to replace the hard drive. You will need the Canon SST (service support tool) to load system software onto HDD. Been awhile since I've done it but believe system software is installed with a parallel cable & laptop. That creates a problem because most newer computers don't have the parallel port.

Another option would be to buy a HDD on internet with system software already installed.

I might have a HDD with software already on it, out of a Canon 3320G. I believe this is same HDD. If you confirm it is same and would like to buy it PM me. I cannot ship to India but if you know someone in USA I can ship to and they can forward to you.
