IR 2830 paper jam between drum and fuser

copier is jamming every 3 copies or so, letter or letter-R the same jams.
When the right door open the paper is folded "on the drum", the paper wasn't fed into the fuser rollers.
Image on the paper is 2" - 52mm from leading edge to the point of stop on the drum (toner line).
The leading edge registration is correct. The fuser rollers looks ok and turning freely.
    I replaced the regist. clutch.
It can be the fuser motor or?????
If you experience this kind of jam on 4570 3570 2230 2270 etc please advise.
    Thanks

Jam code would help. I always remove all the black damper pads by each gate and sensor flag as they can cause issues

When I tried to find the jam history (as described in the manual) Copier-Function-Misc-P there is no Hist-prt, any idea where the jam history is hiding on this model?

The error code is 0107, from the manual I see that it is ps13 (fixing delivery sensor), the paper doesn't get to the sensor at all, it stops before the fuser rollers.

I suspect the fuser motor doesn't turn in time, it doesn't jam all the time.

My question is it the fuser motor or?

I talked to Hytec, they confirm my suspicion of failed motor, what I don't understand why it doesn't give me an error, only a jam.

Thanks you all for your input.

As I mention above after talking to Hytec it probably the M3 (fixing motor FK2-0367).

I also found this - look at dan7777 comment: IR 2870 wave ype printing

Grounding plate is fine. I always check that. I'm going to try a door next week. No hurry. Machines works fine in LTRR

                    hi guys.

can i ask..have yo checked you lower door..maybe the pressure isnt right and paper feeds funny.
if the pressure isnt right you will have paper feed issues and paper will fold and sometime be caught in the 2nd transfer unit.

Mine is folding at the registration flag
There is a damper Pad at the end of the sensor flag, that becomes sticky. You can check this: apply some pressure at the sensor flag downwards, then try to move it upwards. If you feel a resistance before the flag comes free, this is your problem. Remove the damper pad and you are fine
