Have you try changing the lower door B, inner door guide assy (New type) , the vertical path rollers and the separation & feed rollers, plus the reg roller. Also the DC controller should be updated. This helps my older iR3570/4570's. I experience toner dropping down to the onto the Pick up ass'y and around registration, it usually gets on the rear of the registration roller; The toner Spills from the sub hopper.. Canon came out with some seals to remedy that problem. Hope this helps,

    Screwtape.

Also, I've seen the reg sensor get stuck. The sensor arm moves from the center of the path to the rear of the machine. There is a stopper bracket that has a foam pad on it. The pad gets sticky and when the flag moves it gets stuck momentarily. I simply scrape the faulty pad off and voila, no more jams. Although I am not sure we're talking about the same sensor.

hey t911, I'm sure screwtape hit it on the head with this one. the vertical path rollers have been updated for this particular issue and canon came out with a modification for the lower feed door. there is foam pads that you insert onto the door to inc. pressure. this has stopped many jamming problems in the past for me. hope this helps.

            What's the jam code?
Does the machine LCD display a jam at the fuser constantly?
If so then yes...it's the pre registration flag.
0105/0107 jam codes are usually fixed by replacing the vertical path roller with the new type(grey color).
