[Jamming] Canon C5235i DADF pulling multiple pages through sheet feeder intermittent

Hi just wanted see if there is a trick to fix this without having to replace rollers or replace an entire unit.

Can the rollers be cleaned?
I know you can slow the sheet feeder down in service mode but cannot remember the sequence and recommended speed (after all i am only a rookie!)

Customer is going bananas and wants it fixed..

Did you replace the separation pad?
