Canon 2016/2018/2020 info

We have a computer customer who is using an iR2018 and the copier is connected to our XP PC with a USB cable. It stops in the middle of printing multi-page documents. Has anyone come across this issue?

It has been suggested that we update the firmware as it is currently 0.021. The copier is not in a service contract, but I am a PC technician and have updated firmware on routers and PC a lot. Would appreciate if anyone has the latest firmware and service manual to achieve this?

If u have no jam or error issues>u better check that firmware version , seems wrong
On the imageRUNNER 2018 and 2022 just add another 128MB strip of memory to the open slot, J2, on the Image Processor pcb

Check & clean the high voltage contact to the drum unit
