Looks like a fuser smudge, what is the life of the fuser sleeve?

1.Check on the sleeve(lower roller) on the fixing unit.
2.Check the cleaning metal roller just below the sleeve roller it could be coated with a crust of toner.
3.When you send a self print copy is it also blurred if so concetrate on 1and 2 above,if the self print copy is ok check on the scanner.

stop printing / copying before it reaches the fuser and check the page, you will know if the problem is in the pcu or in the fuser.

You can't check the fuser sleeve, visually it may look OK.

You need to replace the film ass'y, cleaning & pressure rollers.

However being from Kampala I guess you are rebuilding the fusers?

It was the fuser fixing film causing the issue. I had already replaced it for the same issue with a rebuilt unit but looks like the rebuilt one had an issue also. Thanks for the help
