    [CQ] canon IR advance C2225

what would be causing the black unit to crap out so soon. I followed installation procedure. I was called out because customer said copier was calling for cyan toner. the following samples are what I found. removing the black imaging unit I saw the same thing that I did back in Feb. 2020; unit wasn't replaced till Sept. 2020. In Feb. 2020 black unit had just shy of 47,000 copies; did not get present count.IMG_0047.jpgIMG_0048.jpgIMG_0049.jpg
    Thanks!!!
P.S. the order the samples were the order they were made.

the 47,000 was 1st replacement I'm thinking less than that on replacement yet I forgot as I stated to get copy count. I don't work on color copiers so trying to figure out is it what you are saying or something else.
      Thanks!!!

One of the worst models Canon made for drum life.

Not seen that test chart in what must be 20+ years!!!

Sometimes just reinstalling the same drum solve the problem on this series. Not good model.

Some unit has a shorter life span, and make me question it.... just like u now.

from your photo I can tell Drum is still good , Blade is Good , I will try to rebuild that unit event I'm fail I will get a spare part for other unit.

These drums do not have a blade, just a charged cleaning brush.
