Hi guys,
I have a few (6) Canon IR ADV C5051 machines that I support, and they haven't had a firmware update since about 2016.
I'm suspecting a firmware update may help because users have been having some strange issues when printing larger PDF files. The PDF files will either stop printing at a certain point, or will pause for several minutes at a certain point in the file. When I print that same file on other copiers/printers, it prints fine (Xerox, Lexmark).
Tomorrow I will be going to get the info which you all are going to be asking (what driver is being used? is there an error code? what is the current firmware version? can you post a copy of the affected PDF file?), I don't have that data yet. But this isn't the first time there have been odd errors with these somewhat older machines and I think a firmware update would be in order.
Does anyone know where I can get the latest firmware for these machines?
Thanks.
