These hard drives are very old models, hard to find in the market now.
Canon R&D is studpid to limited hard drives as new hard drives occurs rather quickly.

I have a Canon C5255 machine. The old hard drive failed to boot the machine with error “E602-0001”
I tried to replace a new hard drive (WD 500GB), inserting a FAT32 flash drive with iAC5255 folder system files, but when formated the hard drive, it prompted
      "[ERROR]. Cannot find format file
      hdd format ... Error"
I had changed the smaller flash drive and hard drives, still same error.
What's the format file? Any one can help or send the format file?
You can not just use any HDD, you have to purchase the HDD from Canon as they restrict which drives you can fit. (this is written in the system software)

The best / cheapest option is to purchase an IDENTICAL make / model HDD to the one that failed.
