C-EXV 51 toner not detecting properly

    C-EXV 51 toner not detecting properly

    What could be the possible cause for this message to appear?
    The toners we have are from/made by CET. Some of toners are working properly, but few are not.

    That's a standard message you get when you use compatible/generic toner. Put Canon OEM toner in and you won't have the message. Otherwise I don't think there's anything you can do about it except maybe contact the manufacturer -CET.

      I even get the message with OEM toners at times. I just agree and keep on going.

        There are even cases that we get an error E025 because of this. We'd just CLEAR the error in service mode then just replace the NG toner with a new one and it would work again.

          because they do not use original developer/carrier mixed in the toner

            FFS what do you expect. Fit genuine Canon toner & you won't get this message.
