It's the same purge unit used on all the iPFs: 650, 655, 680, 685, 750, 755, 760, 765, 770, 780, 785
Originally QM3-5988-000 ... updated many times to currently QM4-3670-020.
If you turn the motor manually, you should be able to watch it work mechanically ... pump in one direction, capping assembly in the other. When that ink starts hardening up into a rock the gears will break ... you'll hear the crunching.
Keep in mind that this may be just the first of a string of expensive issues. You can expect to need a printhead, at minimum. It probably hasn't been properly capped in a while. =^..^=Leave a comment:
