Picked up some of these from wholesaler. I have one that isn't playing nice. I noticed residue on the film that was showing up as trash on the copy. 2 main areas (streaks). I could see crud on the film, so I replaced the film. the new film film immediately had the same issue. I dumped and vacuumed the dv unit, and supplied new genuine toner. the problem persisted still yet. I stopped the image at the drum, and the copy looks good until the fuser film.....If I choose heavy paper, it looks great but slows it down, of course. I'm assuming there is just a problem in the fuser, but just seems odd to me, as I don't know where this matter is coming from. I'm well rehearsed in the 42xx series, and this doesn't look much different. Is there a setting that is recommended to change? Fix-cln? I did adjust the temp up but didn't make much difference.

FYI, Replaced the fuser unit......Problem resolved. Still confused as to why it was doing what it was, but oh well, I'll accept it and move on....
