    ImagePress C1 - E061 0015/0050

    Hi there,

Come across these two errors on a machine. It is constant on 0015 now. We have replaced the drum, rewired all coronas, replaced the grid.

    Manual descriptions are: for 0015
Laser power adjustment is not completed (no convergence within
    effective range)

    and for 0050
    Patch potential control error
The laser power value reaches the vicinity of the upper limit (F0
or more) and also the patch contrast potential (30 - 40V) required
    cannot be achieved.
    Clean the dustproof glass.
    Replace the photosensitive drum.
(Applies to DC controller Ver07.02 or later.)

We are thinking to change Potentail control sensor and board.

Any ideas out there, or prehaps has someone come across this before?

    Thanks in advance

Clear the error first and then run a full auto gradation if its possible.
If that don't work replace the primary corona ass'y. I would'nt go to deep yet.

E061-0015 After Replacing the Primary Wire and Grid on the imagePRESS C1
      Approved

      Symptom
E061-0015 after replacing the primary wire and grid on the imagePRESS C1.

      Action
If the imagePRESS C1 displays an E061-0015 after replacing the primary wire and grid, simply clear the error first and then run a full auto gradation.

NOTE: It is possible that an auto gradation could start while the error code exists. Therefore it is important to immediately perform the error clear as soon as the ready display

The laser assembly will fix this issue. check your laser values they will read F0 really high....worst thing it could be intermittent

            A shot in the dark...

I am not trained on this one, nor do I have the manuals,, that is my alibi Is it possible to turn off potential control on this beasty? Both the errors have to do with data gathered by the potential control, and if it could be turned off for diagnostic purposes, you could see if it could run without error.

sort of... AINR-OFF to 1 turns of the excess rotations during warmup, however as soon as the m/c does its first auto gradation thats it ,the error code will come back
