Canon imageRunner 4545i Paper Jam Problems

    Hello Guys!

I have a problem with my Canon copier. I have the jam error "0100A4" which is a jam by the feeder. The problem is that theres no paper stuck. I tried to clean it but the error is still here. Does anybody can help me to solve this problem?
On Service Mode there was the JamType: POWER ON and the SensorNo. PS_A6.

    Thanky you!

    Best Regards
    Richard

Try pushing a piece of cardstock through the feeder to clear any obstructions. Other then that, you need a tech.

Try disassembling the sensor and cleaning the sensor surface well.
      Sometimes surfaces are matted

Normally in the service modes SITUATION>SENSOR CHECK>SP_DADF-A1>P-SENSOR>PS_A6 is a L status

      please check it

Unless a problem with the DC board, I would check the seating position of the sensor, connector to the sensor, any foreign material that may cheat on the sensor, a disengaged spring. Physically inspect further to find out.

          Solution :
Clean PS-A6 and add an extra wrap to the spring on the sensor actuator for PS-A6. Parts catalog Fig. B12B #26
