Canon IR Adv 5030 weird paper autosizing in ADF

Good day!

First time I encounter this problem whenever the client scan or copy an A4r size paper or B5 in adf its copied or scan automatically into A3.

I checked in simulation if adf sensors are working properly all of then are showing up and running good.

is there any possible reason why is this suddenly occur? Today I'm bringing one working whole adf unit from our workshop but just want to know the main reason of this problem.

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

First check service mode level 1 and ensure that MODEL-SZ is set (COPIER>OPTION>FUNC-SW), and in level 2 ensure that SENS-CNF is set (COPIER>OPTION>FUNC-SW). Hope this helps.

Enter service mode by press service key then 2 and 8 then service

Go to feeder then adjust

Then minimize feeder paper guides to the smallest and from screen select a5r size then it will give you ok



Then maximize feeder paper guides to the maximum and on the screen select a4 size and it will give you ok


Then it should work perfectly
