[Dead] Canon iradvc 3525 Black screen energy save light on

I have a Canon iradv C 3525 The mc switches on and cycles but control panel is all black and energy save button is lit
I am returning on Monday with low voltage power supply I just wondered if any one has had this prob on this range of machines or its predecessor the 3325 range or the range after the DX 3820 as they are all very similar.
Any ideas welcome

Check the flow chart contained in the service manual.

I would suspect a failed main controller.

It was THE main controller board
