I'm reviving a canon IR4570 that has been lying idle for almost a year. Complete overhauled the developer, drum and fixing unit, cleaned the rubber rollers, motor PART-CHK all running OK, but when printing A4 or A4R, there's always about 50mm offset at the beginning of the print. The REGIST offset only amount to 128mm at most.
Any idea what might have caused this? Sometimes jam occurs on the fixing unit, causing accordion wrinkle on the bottom end of the paper inside the fixing unit, as if the paper is travelling faster than intended and hit the exit delivery roller before its motor is running? (Which kinda made sense to the mysterious initial offset)
